Nestled at the very tip of the stunning Llŷn Peninsula, the Ship Hotel in Aberdaron offers a delightful retreat for those who appreciate both natural beauty and quality hospitality. My stay was marked by a spacious room boasting a lovely view of the sea, where the soothing sound of waves was a pleasant backdrop to our weekend. The staff were not only friendly but went the extra mile to ensure we felt welcomed, even during the bustling local festival. While the restaurant was unable to serve dinner due to unforeseen circumstances, the abundance of superb local seafood nearby-especially the freshly caught fish and crab-meant we had plenty of delectable dining options. Breakfast at the hotel was satisfactory, offering a generous selection, though the cooked portions were on the smaller side compared to what I'm used to. I found the Ship Hotel to be a wonderful blend of comfort and charm, perfect for those seeking a fun day out exploring nearby heritage sites or embarking on coastal walks. I'll be looking forward to my next visit to this picturesque gem!
